Meet Dr. Jordyn.

I am a clinician, researcher, and well-being expert dedicated to helping people flourish through compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that honors the whole person.

My professional mission is rooted in Positive Medicine, a framework that integrates the science of well-being into clinical care and aims to both treat mental illness and promote the health and well-being of my patients.

I draw from a variety of eclectic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, couples and family work, and positive psychotherapy. I utilize psychopharmacology when needed and prescribe lifestyle interventions, such as physical activity and mindfulness practice, that support mind-body integration and wholeness.

I work with adults and am completing fellowship training to work with children and adolescents experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, personality disorders, somatic symptom and related disorders, as well as those with chronic illnesses.

My work is evidence-based, while also being creative, spontaneous, and co-created with my patients based on their unique strengths, needs, and contexts.

I am incredibly grateful for the work I get to do and the opportunity to help my patients get to know themselves better. In addition to my clinical work, I am an author, educator, and speaker committed to making the science of well-being accessible to patients, clinicians, and the public. My work includes peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and contributions to public-facing scholarship, including Choose Growth: A Workbook for Transcending Trauma, Fear, and Self-Doubt.
